This knife was created from a design by Stefano Bencistà Falorni who wanted to create a "work" knife for cutting cured meats and cheeses that had a rounded tip and a safe cut.
For generations the Consigli family has produced with infinite passion and great skill fine pocket knives of the Italian regional tradition and forged table cutlery, in the manner of the Scarperia cutlers who have made an art of this craft since the 1300s.
